SDI Biocarbon Solutions

This position will support all aspects of IT for the business. Duties include maintaining and troubleshooting servers, networks, storage, wireless, work orders/resolutions, VMware, and all other infrastructure items. Ensuring compliance with IT General Controls and our cyber security initiatives.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade network infrastructure.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers including VMware Environment, and physical Windows servers.
- Report/SQL writing
- Software implementation help
- Manage Active Directory
- Manage Exchange and Office365 
- Project planning and leadership
- Backup/DR planning and maintenance
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues along with documenting resolutions.
- Assign work orders, follow up on status, and communicate status
- Assist with installation and configuration of workstations, and peripherals.
- Support equipment- Printers, Cameras and Scale interface
- Creating and Maintaining ITCGs
- Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent Customer Service
- On call support for system/network outage at Biocarbon.

Required

• Associate degree in computer information systems, networking, or related field of study.
• Knowledge of various versions of Microsoft Windows Server OS.
• Networking experience
• Experience with VMware
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate
• Excellent problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment
• Positive attitude and highly motivated
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Must be energetic, detail oriented and organized

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical work experience
• CompTIA Certifications: A+, Security+, Network+, or Server+
• Cisco Certifications
• SQL/T-SQL experience
• ERP implementation and support experience
• Experience with Cisco phone system
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange preferred
